The MASP project team traveled to four locations across the state between May 17th and May 22nd to present the draft results of the 2017 MASP study. Meetings were held at the following locations:
- Gaylord Regional Airport – May 17th
- Sawyer International Airport – May 17th
- Oakland County International Airport – May 19th
- Gerald R. Ford International Airport – May 22nd
We had a great turnout at the meetings with a variety of airport stakeholders in attendance. We’d like to thank all of those who participated and provided important feedback to the project team.
If you were not able to attend one of the public meetings, you can view the presentation made here. As always, if you have any feedback or questions for the project team, please feel free to reach us through the “Public Comments” page.
The draft 2017 MASP was presented to the Michigan Aeronautics Commission (MAC) for their review at their May meeting in Oscoda on May 25th. The project team will be incorporating feedback from the MAC, along with input from the public meeting attendees into the final version of the 2017 MASP. The project team will request final approval and adoption by the MAC at their next scheduled meeting in July. To view the presentation made to the MAC in Oscoda, click here.
